Topic - Safety Afloat

This training session is designed for the beginning boater or as a refresher for experienced sailors.  It will cover the many aspects of insuring water activities are done in a safe manner.  It will include personal safety, insuring your vessel is safe, using the facilities to launch and retrieve boats, the impact of weather, what to do when things go wrong and how to assist other boaters when in need. 

All Sea Scout activities are open to all SSYC members, families and guests.  Join us for this first class of the winter season. You may participate via a Zoom virtual meeting if you wish.
