Looking for a boat to crew on?

Sailboat racing requires a lot of hands, eyes, legs, and minds to sail the boat fast and safely on the race course.  SSYC sponsors races for our member boats on Wednesday nights and on the weekends. Our members are always looking for willing hands to help them during the competition.  If you would like to be  on a crew or need a crew for your boat, please come to our annual Crew Search Party on April 20, 2013. Skippers and prospective crew members will meet and talk sailing!  All skippers and all crew are welcome (no need for a club affiliation).  Not only will everyone have the opportunity meet and talk sailing, but “refreshments” will be provided.  This party is to help everyone connect to bring new crew into sailboat racing on Lake Michigan.  Information about everybody will be collected and distributed.

Even if you have a boat to sail on, please come down and promote our sport!

Everyone in attendance will get a free raffle ticket for various gifts from our industry favorites.
