EXPLORING THE POSSIBILITIES?
Exploring the possibilities of life is an exciting part of being young. Boating and sailing opportunities are just a few of the many experiences that are available to members of the Junior Program at South Shore Yacht Club in Milwaukee.
GAINING CONFIDENCE?
Expert sail instructors teach sail lessons throughout the summer. As you learn, your confidence will grow and you will begin to trust your boat handling skills. Beginning, intermediate and racing tactics sail lessons are offered. Safety is stressed and all sail lesson participants must be able to swim.
CHALLENGES?
Sail lessons will challenge you and your sailing abilities against the winds and seas of Lake Michigan. Local and national sail racing regattas offer competitive sailing opportunities for Juniors.
MAKING NEW FRIENDS?
Many your people from Milwaukee and the Milwaukee area develop life-long friendships through membership in the SSYC Junior Program. Juniors are involved in a variety of social activities and community service projects throughout the year. These activities and projects will help you develop life long leadership and organization skills. If so - then the South Shore Yacht Club Junior Program is for you!
