graubner george 2014To wrap up the year, consider coming to our Black and White Ball, sponsored by the Power Boaters on November 1st.  To start the fun filled evening, cocktails will begin at 6:00 PM.  Chef Sam has an excellent menu planned:  Filet or Chicken Saltimbocca, Peppered Green Beans, Twice Baked Potato, Dessert and a complimentary glass of wine.  The cost is $35.00 per person. Following dinner there will be dancing to the popular “Bobby Way”.    There seems to be a few questions about attire… Gentlemen, you don’t have to wear a tux!  A tie would be appropriate!  And, you don’t have to be a Power Boater to attend either.  There’s still time to call the club and make reservations… call 414-481-2331.  This is always a fun event and I look forward to handing out the gifts to those that helped the Power Boaters Committee during the year!    So hurry, and call now.  This is an event you don’t want to miss!

On October 9th, there was a Power Boaters pre-planning meeting for the 2015 boating season!  We had a good turnout and thanks to those who took the time to be there and share their ideas!  We reviewed the year, and came up with new ideas which are always welcomed.  We have the calendar dates in place, and now will have a meeting in January to refine the schedule and events.

There have been discussions about taking into consideration some changes in the format of the SSYC/LMYA open house.  For example, we might shorten up the number of days to the program.  For those that have worked or come to the event, please contact me with your input and ideas for this event.

The cruise to Discovery World on Wednesday, sponsored by the Power Boaters has been a hit!  The committee has suggested we include more dates in 2015 for added cruising and some of those in attendance gladly volunteered their boats!

Once again, we welcome everyone;  boaters and non-boaters to help with the Power Boaters committee or attendance at any of our events!  The more the merrier!  Call me with ideas or email me:  George Graubner, 414-791-8439, .

You can learn more about the various racing fleets by clicking here.  And the racing schedule (for all fleets) is available here.

PowerboatOur power boaters are active fishermen.  An annual fishing contest is held in July.

In addition, our power boaters host a number of events, usually on Thursdays as well as many weekends.
