It has been another wonderful boating season.  Even though the season is winding down, there are still many things to look forward to at the club.
Looking back we had a wonderful Shipmates night in Oct.  Our speaker for the evening was Phillip Block. His presentation on “Lights of the Lakes” included beautiful pictures of many of the lighthouses around the Great Lakes.  You can find him at www.blockphotos.com
Our next meeting is Tuesday Nov. 4th (don’t forget to vote before you come) at 7PM.  This is our election/installation of officers.  Thank you to all the members who have stepped forward to serve on the new board.
Fran Aring will have our gift tags available for our annual giving tree.
We will be collecting money at our Nov. and Dec. meetings for the Sunshine Fund.  We will then take money out of the Sunshine Account to allow us to donate $300.00 to Feeding America.  So please, be generous.
Marilyn Bruesewitz continues to collect toiletries for Joy House and DayStar.  The need is always great there. Let’s see if we can all bring in a donation when we sign in.  Ralph loves to help carry this stuff out for us.
Look for information in the mail regarding our Holiday party.  This is a dinner and, as always, reservations are required.  Please bring cookies for dessert. We will have a gift exchange (optional).   If you want to participate, we are asking for a $10.00 wrapped gift with your name included inside the gift.  (We would like to be able to thank the giver.)  This is not a White Elephant exchange.
Come on down to the Auxiliary meeting and join us.  You are always welcome.

You can learn more about the various racing fleets by clicking here.  And the racing schedule (for all fleets) is available here.
