As I write this it appears that summer is here – now that it is mid-July.  About time!
A huge thank you to Jan Marie-Weiler and everyone for all the time and effort put into selling the Queen’s Cup merchandise. Thank you to all who bought Queen’s Cup Gear - the money we made goes right back in to our Club.
Looking ahead, our next meeting is Tuesday, August 5th at 7 PM.  We will have a short business  meetingfollowed by entertainment.  Goodwill will be putting on a style show for us ”Vintage through the years”.  They always always put on a terrific show.  Please bring a friend to the meeting.
Marilyn Breusewitz continues to collect donations to Daystar. Daystar is one of our designated outreach organizations.Daystar is a safe and caring long term transitional home that provides women with the support, tools and resources to build a life free from domestic abuse. Daystar takes donations of Personal Care Products, Bath Supplies, Health Needs, Household Supplies, Art Therapy Supplies, Kitchen Cleaning Supplies, etc.  Marilyn takes our donations over to Daystar – let’s make her trip worthwhile.
Please note that we will have a Board Meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 17th at 7 PM.
Looking forward to seeing you in August.  Come early, relax and enjoy visiting with your friends.  We have snacks and beverages available before, during and after the meeting. Come for the meeting, stay for the fun.

Sailing and Racing

SailboatsIf you are interested in sailing, and more specifically racing, there are ample opportunities to join one of our racing fleets, or to crew on one of the boats in those fleets.  The women's fleet races on Mondays, small boats race on Tuesdays.  Big boats race on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  And the double handed fleet races on Fridays.

You can learn more about the various racing fleets by clicking here.  And the racing schedule (for all fleets) is available here.

PowerboatOur power boaters are active fishermen.  An annual fishing contest is held in July.

In addition, our power boaters host a number of events, usually on Thursdays as well as many weekends.
