Open House

A second SSYC Open House was held on  May 18th at 1:00pm. Invitations were sent to one of the three postal routes in  Bay View of about 445 residents. About 40 residents of the Bay View neighborhood were met by Commodore George Artka, PC Dave Wehnes, PC Bruce Nason, PC Bob Aring, VC Ken Dziubek, Director Jim Peterson, Membership Committee people Kristen McCall and Sandy Dziubek. The fabulous Grill Team of George Graubner, Scott Lawrie, Scott Burke and Gary Johnson did their magic in the kitchen with great brats and beer. Some of the comments that were heard from the Bay View residents were “I have never been here.” “I came here years ago and always had fun.” “I always wanted to know what it looked like on the other side of the fence.” The results were 3 people joining that afternoon and 2 more during the week. Many thanks to all that made this a success.

You can learn more about the various racing fleets by clicking here.  And the racing schedule (for all fleets) is available here.

In addition, our power boaters host a number of events, usually on Thursdays as well as many weekends.
