graubner george 2014What’s going on with the Power Boater’s?  We had a planning meeting March 5th to discuss the past and the upcoming events. Upcoming we have the Wine Tasting April 12th where we will have some new and interesting events and wines.   We have established a price for the event of $30.00 per person.  This will include the wine and hearty Hors d’ oeuvres.  There will also be a wine pull and a Bourbon room for some great tasting at a slight charge.  Reservations are required for the Wine Tasting.  We will are sending out Flash E-mails with periodic updates prior to the Wine Tasting.

There were brief discussions on the Power boater’s Thursday’s starting May 15th, Spaghetti night, and the May 29th Chili dump/flare shoot.

We have also done a little work on the SSYC/LYMA open house.  Letters have gone out to the professional athletic organizations.  I have already received a reply from the Packer organization who is requesting additional information.  The additional letters will go out in as few weeks to our other sponsors.  Flash E-Mails will be sent to SSYC members with the specifics and to LMYA members.   We’re looking for additional help for this Big Power Boater Event.

By the time this article is read in the Compass the Great 2014 Gambling Getaway will be history.  I want to thank the Tucholkas, Doyles, and Dziubeks for organization this annual event.
