Can you believe it!  Spring is just 26 days away as I write this.

Things are starting to pick up with wonderful thoughts of another boating season.  We are looking forward to seeing our Snowbirds back.

Our next meeting is Tuesday March 4th at 7PM.  Our guest speaker will be Charlie Koenen – Head Buzzmaker at Beepods.Com, LLC.  He will give us a “beesentation”.   Did you know that a honeybee flies up to 15 mph and its wings beat 200 times per minute?  Learn more about bees and enjoy samples of honey.  Charlie will also have local honey for purchase.

Don’t forget our Queen’s Cup T-shirt Design Contest going on.  Submit your design to the office (attention Auxiliary) by April 1st.  The winner will receive $150.00.  All participants receive a $5.00 coupon towards Queen’s Cup Merchandise.  Show off your artistic talents.

Jodi Emery concluded her audit of our books and we are in great shape (as usual – thanks Christine Martin, treasurer).

We had 7 new members in 2013 and 3 new members so far this year.  The new 2014 members are – Beth Becker-Olsen, Charlotte Castleberry and Lynn Peterson.  New life members are Lois Gorton, Erika Jordan and Lorna Reiter.

Continue to bring toiletries to the meetings for donating to Joy House.  Joy House supports women fleeing domestic violence.  Little things can make a difference.

Join us Tuesday March 4th and let’s get things started.  Come on down and see what we have planned for the rest of the year.  It is going to another great year.
