SS/SSS Demo Page

This private page shows the complete online registration and payment sequence experienced by users. Please bookmark or copy the page address so you can come back to it whenever you want. The sequence starts with online registration, below.

Among other things, the form requires skippers to tell us how they will be paying (by check or online). When the registration is submitted, the user is redirected to the fees page here.

IMPORTANT

This demo now includes fees given to me by the fleet captain. Please note that she did not provide prices before tax and so I cannot apply a tax at checkout, as we are doing for all other fleets and all other events. This means that the office will somehow have to work backward to calculate what tax should be sequestered on a transaction or cumulative basis. Tax amount will not be included in any transaction reports generated by Hikashop - our checkout software. Ordinarily, when we have a before-tax price, the system makes this calculation automatically. If someone somewhere can give me the price before tax, I am happy to make the update, but don't have the time to chase that information down.

If people opt to pay online, they do that here.

Every time someone registers, an auto e-mail alert with complete registration details is sent to the form administrator. Joena Vitale has been added as admin.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the 2016 South Shore Yacht Club Sailing Events and sailing regattas (the "Events"), hosted by the South Shore Yacht Club. (the "SSYC”), and in consideration of the substantial volunteer effort made by volunteers with respect to the Events, I hereby:

2. Agree not to sue any of the releases for any damages, costs, losses, expenses, demands, claims or causes of action arising out of the events.

3. Acknowledge that serious accidents may occur during the Events and that I may sustain death, disability, serious personal injury, and/or property damage, and acknowledge my responsibilities in participating in the Events, for my decisions to start or continue to race in the Events and to ensure that my boat, equipment and crew are seaworthy for the conditions which may be encountered during my participation.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read this agreement, understand its terms, have had the opportunity to review, discuss and negotiate its terms and conditions and understand that by signing, I am giving up substantial rights. I agree to be bound by The Racing Rules of Sailing and by all other rules that govern this series.
