Remember Me

SSYC aerial photo 1200x372

Dziubek Ken 2014I want to thank Bruce Nason and his committee for an outstanding job. Bruce and his committee have increased the amount of Active members from the lowest amount, that I can remember, of 450 to the present amount of 526 Active members. Bruce realized that membership was the most important criteria to be addressed at SSYC. While juggling the positions of Corresponding Secretary, 100th Anniversary Committee, Double Handed Sailing Captain and Membership Director, Bruce accomplished the amazing results thus epitomizing the adage of “If want a task done get a busy person to do it.”.  Bruce did this with his personal style and manners that has allowed him to manage all of the great accomplishments in his life. Again a big "Thank You". Bruce Nason left a pretty big wake and I, as your new Membership Director, hope to continue in his course.

At Tuesday’s Board of Director’s Meeting Commodore George Artka swore in 11 new Active and 2 new Associate I members. Please welcome:

You can learn more about the various racing fleets by clicking here.  And the racing schedule (for all fleets) is available here.

In addition, our power boaters host a number of events, usually on Thursdays as well as many weekends.
