The Mac and Hook racers experienced challenging conditions when light winds frustrated even the most seasoned crews. However, this did not stop several SSYC boats from finding a way to finish and claim a place. This year Dick Hobbs and crew took a newly purchased J111, HOBGOBLIN, on the Mac race. HOBGOBLIN finished first place in the J111 Division and 9th overall out of 301 boats. This years’ HOBGOBLIN Mac crew was comprised of Dick Hobbs, Owner/Skipper; Mike Kuptz, Alex Hobbs; Scott Hordesky, Brian Kuptz; Dick Olson and Tom Pease. Congratulations to the HOBGOBLIN crew on an outstanding race!
