The race results of the second Double Hand race, sailed Friday, July 19, indicate that the breeze was from the West at 20+ knots. However eight boats were on the starting line and the first boat to finish sailed the six mile course in less than an hour. The field included two new racers; Jupiter, skipper John Dillinger and Serenity, skipper Bob Mueller. Welcome to the fleet guys. The post race adventure in gastronomy was again a treat with margaritas, small taco salads, quesadillas, the usual sides and finished off with key lime bars. Can’t wait to see what’s in store after race three on August 23. The first three finishers of race two were; Special Sauce first, Sabotage second and Caravel third.
