BergRussSeems Summer has arrived and the boating season is in full swing.

Our Thursday Spaghetti Dinner was held on June 13th under the tent. Thanks to the hosts, George and Jan Artka, Pete and Bonnie Merryfield, and Bruce and Carolyn Nason, who served the spaghetti, arranged for the side dishes and provided a trivia game.

Thanks also to the members of the “Red Apron Grill Team” who assisted with the pig roast at the Review of the Fleet on June 8th. If you have an interest in joining the “team” for future events, give me a call.

The SSYC/LMYA Open House is around the corner. Volunteers are needed to help with ice cream bucket sales, the auction, and other portions of this fund raiser. Please contact George Graubner if you have an interest. The event runs July 5th, 6th, and 7th.

Our next Thursday night will be a Grill Your Own on July 11th and the Burger and Brown Bag on the 18th of July.

The Great PS’R is set to take place on Saturday, July 20th, followed by Fish On/Fish Off on July 27th.

If you have an interest in running an event or assisting our volunteers, please let me know. New ideas and improvements on our events are always welcome.

Hope you are enjoying Summer in Wisconsin and that everyone stays safe.

You can learn more about the various racing fleets by clicking here.  And the racing schedule (for all fleets) is available here.

Powerboating

PowerboatOur power boaters are active fishermen.  An annual fishing contest is held in July.

In addition, our power boaters host a number of events, usually on Thursdays as well as many weekends.
