auxiliary-logo-200pxaux2We had a wonderful May meeting honoring our past presidents and life members.  There were about 60 members present for a wonderful dinner prepared by Chef Sam and delightful entertainment provided by Carolyn Wehner, a pianist/vocalist.  She played and sang songs from the 50's to the 80's.  There was something here for everyone. In the picture are the past presidents that were in attendance.  They are - Jan Marie Weiler, Karen Dickinson, Ruth Predith, Peggy Eilers, Fran Aring, Sandy Dziubek, Marilyn Bruesewitz, LeeAnne Dukes, Mary Berg, Fayne Haase, Nancy Grabowski, Georgia Pluckhan, and Jennifer Berg.  Life member Karen Dickinson has been a member for an amazing 49 years.  We collected toiletries at this meeting for our outreach organizations - Joy House and Day Star.  Ralph Bruesewitz made many trips taking donations down to his car.  I thought we were getting a new member(we do accept men in the Auxiliary).

Our next meeting is Tuesday June 6th.  This is our picnic and we begin at 6PM.  The club provides the entree.  Please bring a side dish to share (appetizer, salad or desert). The dinner will be followed by a short meeting. If you did not sign up at the May meeting, please call the club for reservations for this dinner meeting.  As always, we unveil the new Queen's Cup merchandise.  We are the first ones to be able to buy.  This is a good time to get a Father's Day present.  After this meeting, we will be selling the merchandise Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until the week of the Queen's Cup.  Then we will sell all day on Thursday, June 27th and Friday, June 28th.  For more information or to sign up to help sell, please call Jan Weiler at 414-828-9650.  Remember this is our biggest fund raiser.  The money we raise here goes back into making this the Harbor of Hospitality.  At the June meeting we will have a sign up sheet for servers for the Queen's Cup party. The Queen's Cup party is a great time to see all the boats, eat great food and enjoy terrific music.  Come on down!

We take the month of July off.  Our next meeting after the picnic is Tuesday August 6th at 7 PM.

See you all on the water.
