BergRussAll this spring rain hopefully will be bringing up the water levels of our beloved Lake Michigan.

Thanks to Barry Goodstein for running the Wine Tasting on April 13th. Avenue Liquors provided a great variety of wine selections for the tasting. Ed provided unusual beers and ciders. The gourmet food prepared by Chef Sam was outstanding. The presentation of the food was definitely noteworthy.

We will be kicking off the summer Thursday night events on May 23rd with the Chili Fest and Flare Shoot. Bring your expired flares and join Craig Lake and Keith Ponath for lessons on how to use safety equipment. As this event is not a “Chill Dump”, the chili will be provided by the club and there will be charge of $6.00 a person. Bring an appetizer or a dessert if you would like.

The next Thursday event is the Spaghetti Dinner to be held on the 13th of June.

If you have an interest in running an event or assisting our volunteers, please let me know. New ideas and improvements on our events are always welcome.

Hope your boats are ready, as launching begins on May 4th.

A great time was had by everyone who went on the Gambling Get Away. Here are some pictures of the event.
